Der 70-jährige Shin lebt inzwischen in Mosambik, wohin er nach der Unabhängigkeit 1977 kam, um dort das neue Kino mitaufzubauen. RothStauffenberg haben im ‘Grande Hotel’ in Beira, Mosambik 2007 einen Maskenball veranstaltet und einen Film gedreht. Einst 'der Stolz Afrikas’ leben dort heute über 3000 Menschen ohne Strom und ohne fliessend Wasser. Das Buch zeigt die Arbeiten von RothStauffenberg, versucht aber auch das Werk von Shin Jun-chul darzustellen. In dem Gespräch geht es um Authentizität, um Diktatoren, um Sex, um das Verschwinden, und es geht um Fiktion als Sprache.

Customers and consumers are increasingly value driven. In this challenging world, there is a growing recognition that creative pricing strategies combined with effective supply chain management provide opportunities for significant risk capital cost reduction and yet increased profits. This paper presents evidence and a new model to support this viewpoint and suggests an approach to supply chain alignment that can enable cost reduction opportunities to be identified and higher profits to be achieved through collaborative strategies. For a good risk management the bank uses, among other figures, RORAC, RAROC and RARORAC to minimize the risk that each credit-borrower brings along. In the financing sector, therefore, they created the credit-ranking system. Now the next question would be, why not implement that credit-ranking in logistics to minimize risks in order to create a certain risk capital as security. Especially in the airfreight segment, where there is a lot of environmental risk involved, there has to be created a new way to prevent from high unexpected losses. In der Unternehmenspraxis stellt sich die Frage, durch welche strategischen, prozessualen und methodischen Instrumente des Supply Management in der Post Merger Integrationsphase der Grad der Fusionszielerreichung nachhaltig erhöht werden kann. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde zur Beantwortung dieser Frage ein integrierter und theoriebasierter Post Merger Supply Managementansatz entwickelt, welcher die Wissensbereiche Post Merger Management und Supply Management kombiniert. Mergers and acquisitions (M&A),; the term itself is used for diverse kinds of cooperation between companies, received a lot of public attention during the past dec-ades as several major M&A; transactions have been effected. Although during the current worldwide economic struggles the global M&A; transaction volume declined, expansion through M&As; remains a central corporate growth strategy tool. To merge companies successfully, integration and harmonization processes which require a lot of attention and resources are very important in order to align the previously separate compa-nies' operations, strategies and culture. As only very few M&A; transactions generate satisfying results and achieve their strategic and financial objectives, subject of this paper is to determine the requirements for successful post merger integration. After describing the range of motives for companies to engage in M&A,; I will explain the challenges and the importance of post merger integration management (PMI) and provide guidelines how it can contribute to make a M&A; transaction a success.

WTO accession by China is often seen as the most significant event about China in the last decade, even ahead of the Taiwan Independence issue, which continues to penetrate world news periodically. Since the end of the Cultural Revolution in 1978, China has been on a course of economic reform. Today, Chinese are richer than ever before in history, with the country itself having experienced extended periods of extraordinary growth. Specifically, this report will highlight Chinäs first attempts to join the WTO more than 15 years ago in chapter two. Chapter three will focus on the main areas of difficulty surrounding WTO accession, while chapter four will comment on the final accession in December 2001. The expected economic advantages and disadvantages for China will be discussed in chapter five; finally, chapter six will offer a brief future outlook for China, again mainly from an economic perspective.
