The EEI conference has gained a good reputation among scientists over the past years and each year attracts more and more participants from different scientific fields, from electrical engineering and informatics. The conference aims to encourage discussion and sharing of knowledge and experience between members of the scientific community, engineers, industry and academia from around the world. Since its inception, the conference has been attended by around 900 participants from academic and higher education institutions and other organisations. We hope that EEI will be an excellent forum for discussion, presenting new ideas and promoting collaborative research.

On Monday, prior to the opening of EUSAR 2022, a set of tutorials is given where the interested attendees can get a deep dive into selected technical or application aspects of SAR technology. The higher level perspectives and future trends in Synthetic Aperture technology will be given by Key-note Speakers during the opening plenary session on Tuesday. Dies ist von steigender Bedeutung, wird doch das Betriebsverhalten des Antriebes zunehmend durch Steuer- und Regelalgorithmen bestimmt. Feinwerktechnisch und mikrotechnisch hergestellte Antriebe eröffnen neue Anwendungsmöglichkeiten, gerade, wenn es um die Miniaturisierung von Systemen geht. Neben den konventionellen Antriebsprinzipien gewinnen hier auch die unkonventionellen Aktorprinzipien an Bedeutung, zum Teil ist erst ihr Einsatz zielführend.Über diese Themen informieren Experten aus Forschung und Entwicklung am 10. und 11.
