This is the focus for the assignment. A general guideline for an efficient product development process should be created with the overall objective ¿ customer centric product development combined with an improved internal workflow. Anderson et al (2006, p. 1) states that customer value proposition is one of the most widely used terms in business in recent years. So it is important that a company is able to help customers understand the superior value of the products or service offered. Under pressure to keep costs down, customers may only look at the price and so it is important to think about the customer value proposition but also the comparison to the competitors of a specific market environment. This should flow into this assignment as well. Another problem of product development is that in many companies it is rather influenced by opinions of different sales people then by facts and figures. According Annacchino (2007, p. 101) a lot of companies tend to make a mistake at the product definition step, so that the customer is not really involved in the product development process. In reference to the definition of customer-defined needs there are different ways: ¿ A company can use direct customer surveys to solicit feedback and to obtain information in a direct manner. ¿ Another way is a focused group discussion which allows multiple-person input and prompted discussion to generate ideas. ¿ A third possibility is a suggestion system and communication platform for customers and stakeholders.

Nowadays, word has spread. The topic has become more pressing on political agendas, national and international summits. In the 2007 Adecco Fitness Survey, European companies invision the demographic change as the second biggest business challenge, following Globalization. The UN has been pressing the issue of ageing populations since the 1940s and forecasts that the number of people over 60 years old will have tripled by 2050. For the first time in history, this figure will exceed that of the number of children (0 ¿ 14 years). However, these aggregated figures do not show that these developments have taken place differently across the globe. Europe is experiencing the most rapid ageing, and the number of old people is already higher than the number of young people. This may explain why demographic change now has such a high priority in EU policies. Nico van Nimwegen, deputy director of the Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute notes that the ageing problem is the dominant challenge the EU is facing. He sees the implications of this trend and the need for action and policy change in various areas. Employment has been recognized as one of these target areas. The ageing of the population has important repercussions on the available labor force and thus impacts economic prospects as a whole. This paper will analyze demographic changes and their impacts on the labor markets. It will begin with an overview of Europe¿s demographic development and its driving forces. The subsequent impacts on the labor force will then be discussed followed by an overview of different proposed policy options and how they could help circumvent the consequences of demographic change. Here the goal shall not be to detail single policy measures, but to unveil areas in which policy action needs to be considered. Particular policies have to be chosen carefully by each country in accordance to its individual situation and institutional framework. Finally, the findings of this paper will be reviewed and a final conclusion will be given.

However, this is only the basis for the plots. At the end of the novel we do get to know the villain, but by then we also know who was believed by the various characters to be that person. In the two novels I chose, The Sign of Four by Arthur Canon Doyle, first published in 1890 and Morality for Beautiful Girls by Alexander McCall Smith, first published in 2001, these villains are greedy, seek revenge or are savage. People fear them because they feel they do not have any social control over them. I will also deal with anthropological criminology which is discussed in both novels, more or less obviously. Throughout the essay I will show how the detectives and their helpers are used to contrast the wrongdoers. Closely connected to the evil is the wish to restore justice. In both novels it is not the police or the judiciary that deal with this task. The detectives are needed to detect the wrongdoers and therefore they can decide how they will punish them - for example, it is their decision whether they want to take the matter to the police or not. Another statement that the novels make is the fact that evil people are punished directly by their own evil deeds, because they influence their later life.

The guideline will give some practical approaches and issues for planning ebusi-nesses considering the essential rules, directives, regulations and principles of ac-counting and taxation (¿state of the art¿). Purpose of the project is to search in relevant German, U.S. and other references for relevant material about accounting and taxation of ebusinesses, summarize and structure the essentials to a practical guide for developing and planning ebusinesses. Based on the relevant accounting principles for ebusinesses in German commercial law (HGB), International Accounting Standards (IAS) and US-General Accepted Ac-counting Principles (US-GAAP), sales and use tax, and income tax in Germany and US, the highlights of the content are web-based businesses, nexus based on server location, mobility of web-based businesses, web site expense deductions, acquisi-tions and dispositions of web-based businesses, valuation subjects and the relevant international recommended methods of transferpricing for multinational enterprises and tax administrations (OECD guidelines) corresponding to their certain cases of application. While the following work is focusing primarily on professional theatre in the Midwest, it also catches a glimpse on community theatre, especially in Montana, as their major form of theatre. In general, American theatre is often equated and centered with theatre that is produced and staged on Broadway in New York City. Yet, the American theatre scene is much more diverse and widespread than commonly believed. The common misconception about American theatre outside of New York is supported by the lack of literature about Midwest theatre. Information on Midwest theatre for instance is mostly covered in American theatre biographies, however, current studies on the variety and structure of contemporary Midwest theatre are rather rare to non-existent. Therefore, empirical and statistical research for this paper in form of field and Internet studies were essential. The structure of the paper in some way reflects the diversity of Midwest theatre and landscape, starting by defining the Midwest as a region, followed by a brief history of American theatre in general and its basic current structure. A description of all established theatre branches in the Midwest, case studies of exemplary theatre companies in Chicago, Minneapolis, Iowa, South Dakota and Montana, are preceded by individual perception on Midwest theatre by performing artists as well as audience members. ¿ I was surprised by the professionalism and wide variety of theatre opportunities for people in the Midwest region (Chicago areas especially) after being raised in New York, where "everyone who is anyone" should flock to for theatre experience. The Midwest and others regions offer a wide span of experience and opportunity for many aspiring talented theatre professionals and amateurs alike.¿ This exploration proves there is indeed a wide variety of theatre in the Midwest, ranging from highly professional companies, to highly motivated, quality amateur theatre, and that there is much more potential in creative energy and ambition than commonly believed.

That is not to say that the event of a war, a draught or another catastrophe did not have devastating consequences and indeed it were predominantly the ordinary people who suffered the most if such an event took place. The conducting of life however remained unaffected and continued as it had before. Scientific inventions were rarely made and if they did happen it was only a small privileged section of society benefiting from them. Whatever influenced the life of most people occurred gradually, making it both possible and easy to adjust. It could even be argued that because these influences did not have an impact during a person¿s lifespan but developed over generations people failed to recognize them as changes at all. This has profoundly changed in the age of globalization that has already shaped the economic, social, and cultural lives of hundreds of millions of people. The majority of them may not be able to clearly identify these changes but they would all agree that something is happening in their lives. The feeling evolving out of this is one of uncertainty; there are both greater opportunities and greater risks. The previous era had already witnessed the transformation that industrialization brought about and it provoked sharp reactions. Industrialization not only transformed people¿s lives it changed the character of warfare as well and the 20th century had to endure the consequences. Technology brought many improvements but people start to realize that there is a flipside to everything. In a somewhat dialectical sense we cannot take the benefits of something while at the same time hope to avoid the ramifications. The world today has not just become smaller; it also turns out to be far more complex and diverse than any philosopher could have possibly imagined. Postmodernism can be conceived as a movement directed at both diversity and complexity but it may not provide a satisfying answer. Instead, its simple but yet powerful message may be that all we can do is accept the actual condition. This paper attempts to outline the development of postmodernism as a reaction to Modernity, and to analyze some of the implications this reaction brings about.

Zu Beginn diente es vorwiegend der Informationsverbreitung. Heute dient es dem Grossteil aller deutschen Haushalte als Unterhaltungsmedium. Im Jahr 2010 sah der durchschnittliche deutsche Bürger 223 Minuten fern pro Tag. Dies sind immerhin fast vier Stunden täglich. Im vergangenen Jahr lag die Anzahl der frei empfangbaren TV- Sender, Private und Öffentlich-Rechtliche, bei 271. Diese Sender finanzieren sich bekanntlich komplett oder zu einem grossen Teil über die Werbung. Diese ist grundsätzlich im Rundfunkstaatsvertrag geregelt und verlangt von privaten Fernsehanstalten, Werbung zusammenhängend zu schalten, wodurch einzelne Unterbrechungen zur Ausnahme gehören. Zwei Werbeblöcke sollen mindestens 20 Minuten auseinander liegen und dürfen die 15% Marke der kompletten Sendedauer nicht überschreiten. Die Richtlinien für Öffentlich-Rechtliche fallen etwas strenger aus. Lediglich 20 Minuten am Tag werden zugelassen. Keine Werbeschaltungen nach 20 Uhr und an Sonn- und Feiertagen. Diese gesetzlichen Vorschriften werden auf Grund niedriger Strafen zwar regelmässig verletzt, motivieren die deutschen Fernsehanstalten jedoch trotzdem, neue sogenannte Sonderwerbeformen zu entwickeln. Next, the background of the study will present a conceptual framework, theoretical foundations on which the research will be based, development of research questions that are to be answered, and a hypotheses development. As it follows, the research methodology will formulate the information needs and data collection methods, the questionnaire development, and the sample design. The data analyses and findings part will use descriptive statistics and present the results from the quantitative research as well as other findings. This development has been accompanied by the emergence of spot markets where electricity is traded between producer and purchaser. Since the price charged to the end-customer turns out to be more exposed to market prices of electricity, the need for derivatives with a risk management purpose arises. A more recent asset class such as structured products may be used as a risk management tool. This paper focuses on the pricing of various structured products with the Swiss energy price indices as an underlying. Since electricity has particular features that result in a peculiar stochastic process, the pricing of electricity derivatives cannot rely on traditional pricing formulas that have been developed for equity or commodity underlyings. Rather, there is a need for a dynamic model that captures the unique characteristics of electricity. In this paper, a new jump diffusion process is proposed and estimated that is able to incorporate the Swiss electricity price properties. Building on this model, a Monte Carlo simulation is applied that allows one to price differing electricity derivatives that are embedded in structured products. Using the option pricing results, the feasibility and attractiveness of a defined range of structured products is investigated. In order to include the special properties of electricity, new structured products are developed that are more appropriate as risk management tools. Das Konzept muss demzufolge unter anderem eine Marktsegmentierung, eine Konsolidierung der Marktleistungen aufgrund der Kundenbedürfnisse, eine Neuausrichtung der Marketing-, Verkaufs- und Serviceprozesse aufgrund der Kundenprozesse und die integrierte Einführung neuer IT-Systeme beinhalten. Obwohl die Beziehungen zu seinen Kunden seit jeher für jedes Unternehmen als existenziell angesehen werden können, hat sich der Stellenwert der Kundenbeziehungen aufgrund des gestiegenen Innovationsdrucks bzw. eines intensiveren Wettbewerbs deutlich verändert.
