Abweichend vom Einsatz der BSC oder der Strategy Map im unternehmerischen Umfeld, ergeben sich bei Destinationen besondere Herausforderungen. Gemeinhin führt eine Destinationsmarketingorganisation (DMO) die Leistungen einer Destination zusammen und bietet deren Leistungen nach aussen auf dem Markt an. Die DMO kann unterschiedliche Gesellschaftsformen haben, bildet aber im Allgemeinen etwas Vergleichbares zu einer ausgelagerten Marketingabteilung mit erweiterten Befugnissen. Genau an dieser Stelle treten Probleme hinsichtlich der Steuerungsfunktionen der Strategy Map und der dazugehörigen BSC auf. Im Folgenden konnte nachgewiesen werden, dass die Destinationsentwicklung und Steuerung mittels Strategy Map und BSC möglich ist, dass hierfür aber destinationsindividuelle Lösungen zur Steuerung gefunden werden müssen. Eine universelle Muster-Strategie gibt es nicht. Daher muss die Strategy Map immer der individuellen Strategie angepasst werden. Die Richtwerte zur Nutzung der Strategy Map bleiben jedoch erhalten, so dass die im Folgenden genannten Kennzahlen eine Richtlinie zur Umsetzung bilden.

(III,1) The question of "to be or not to be", which is in essence the question of identity, is a widely discussed and fundamental theme of life, a topic many authors have written about and many producers have made the central theme of Hollywood movies. The purpose of this essay is to discuss question of identity in postmodern American short stories. It will include a presentation of postmodernism in its contrast to modernism. Three short stories from different American authors will be discussed in regard to conflicts and development of identity: "Lost in the funhouse" by John Barth, "Saint Marie" taken from Louise Erdrichs "Love medicine" and "A Wife's Story" by Bharati Mukherjee. The pianistically demanding studies “Waldesrauschen” and “Gnomenreigen” were written during the composer’s mature late phase, in which one does not necessarily expect such virtuosic pieces. Liszt composed them in 1862 in Rome for the Grosse theoretisch-praktische Klavierschule by Siegmund Lebert and Ludwig Stark. In so doing he honoured a pledge he had made some time before. Liszt was now teaching a large group of students. The two studies, published in 1863 and independent of the Klavierschule, were dedicated to his extremely gifted pupil Dionys Pruckner. He and other Liszt pupils often played them in concerts.

In fact, in early 1989, articles appeared in the International Herald Tribune proposing the German politicians give up the idea of German reunification1. Yet within little more than a year, Germany had acceded to full political union and sovereignty, without allies or neighbours objecting. We will ask ourselves how this seeming contradiction came to happen and what role diplomacy played in making it possible. To do this, we will separate the course of events in two sections, the first one -less formalised- focusing more on the question if reunification would happen, followed by the second -more formalised- focusing on the terms of reunification. In the third part we will face the question what role the shape of consultations, notably the 2+4 (two German states plus four allied powers), played in the successful outcome of German moves towards reunification.
