Wie wirkt sich diese gesetzliche Regelung auf Anzahl und Struktur von Zigarettenautomaten und alternativen Tabakbezugsquellen aus (Angebotsstruktur) und wie auf den Tabakkonsum dieser Altersgruppe? (Nachfragestruktur) Alleinstellungsmerkmal dieser Studie ist die erstmals vollständige Erfassung von Tabakbezugsquellen durch ein Geo-Informationssystem und die Verbindung dieser geographischen Daten mit personenbezogenen Raucherdaten. Mit diesen Fragen beschäftigt sich die vorliegende Arbeit, welche im Rahmen des Diplomstudienganges Gesundheit an der Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften, Hamburg im Jahr 2003 entstanden ist. Die Kinder der dritten Klassen einer Grundschule am Hamburger Stadtrand wurden im Abstand von sechs Monaten mittels eines Fragebogens befragt und die beteiligten KlassenlehrerInnen wurden zum gleichen Zeit interviewt. Aufgrund der hohen Verbreitung und ihrer zentralen Bedeutung im gesamten Lebenslauf ist die Prävention von Übergewicht bereits im Kindes- und Jugendalter von vordringlicher Public Health-Relevanz. Vor diesem Hintergrund wurden in der Vergangenheit zahlreiche Konzepte und Interventionen der Verhaltens- und Verhältnisprävention entwickelt, erprobt und zum Teil verstetigt. Mit Verabschiedung des Präventionsgesetzes im Juli 2015 hat die Bedeutung der Lebenswelten für Massnahmen, Konzepte und Programme der Gesundheitsförderung und Prävention eine gesetzliche Stärkung erfahren. Vor diesem Hintergrund geben Expertinnen und Experten aus Wissenschaft und Praxis einen interdisziplinären Überblick zur Prävention von Übergewicht im Kindes- und Jugendalter. Neben Grundlagen zur Ätiologie, der Verbreitung und den gesundheitlichen Konsequenzen von Übergewicht werden aktuelle Erkenntnisse zur Evidenzlage sowie zu den Anforderungen an Evaluation und Qualitätssicherung vorgestellt. Entlang der für Kinder und Jugendlichen zentralen Lebenswelten Familie, Kita, Schule und Kommune werden aktuelle konzeptionelle Ansätze der Übergewichtsprävention dargestellt und anhand von Praxisbeispielen beleuchtet.
